Global Oil Shale Group Plc (“GOS”) and VTT – Technical Research Centre of Finland have agreed on the construction of a piloting centre at the new VTT Piloting Centre in Bioruukki, Espoo in Finland for testing and piloting slow and fast pyrolysis processes for oil shale, which are central in the GOStek 6000 oil shale process for oil and power production.

Slow pyrolysis devices intended to verify the parameters for improved Galoter type process. Fast pyrolysis equipment intended for analysis of scale up of oil shale processing. Bench scale equipment has capacity of 1.0 kg/h and Pilot 0.5 tonne per day.
